Sometimes the trends we're most intrigued by are the ones we're least likely to ever wear. Well, this is how I felt about Topshop's make-up recently at London Fashion Week.
Showcasing trends for A/W 13, all of Topshop's models had a dewy, light coverage, heavy sculpting, a light coat of mascara and 'cornflower' blue eyeshadow dusted over and under their eyes.
For some reason, blue eyeshadow has always made me a bit nauseous. But when I saw coverage of Topshop's show - I was inexplicably intrigued.
Earlier today I found myself hanging out of my bedroom window (don't worry, I live on the ground floor) due to a flatmate's indoor smoking habit and the tendency of my throat narrowing at even the word 'smoke'.
