January sales!

The January sales make my year. That might sound a bit sad - but it's true. I love a bargain. During January I usually buy more than I do for the rest of the year. This year, however, has been different. I spend a large chunk of the year unemployed, so instead of buying enough to clothe a small country - I changed my tactic. 2013 Jess is a refined browser, a sensible shopper, a scaled-back spender. I'm very proud of my finds, so I thought I'd share some of them with you!

I don't know what exactly, but something about this ring really draws me in. I can't stop looking at it!

I pretty much have a 24-hour Nails Inc radar. If they're on sale - I will find them. And find them I did (in TK Maxx). The shades are a beautiful (and rarely seen) mustard and a bluey-lavender.

Topshop had a sale on a lot of its make-up, and I've been wondering about it for a while now. At first I was sceptical, but most of it seems to have gone down well. So I picked up a few bargains (including a lipstick which isn't featured), and I'm excited to see if the make-up is anywhere near as good as the clothes.

The face palette includes a powder blusher, four eyeshadows and two lip colours.

Real Techniques have been the 2012 make-up brush must-haves for any make-up magpie. This wasn't actually on sale but I picked it up on Amazon (you can also get them in Boots) for £6.99. I recommend these brushes more than anything I've ever recommended in my entire life. Ever!
